Op de website LiveATC.net is een audiofragment verschenen waarin een 737-800 piloot van Delta airlines vindt dat hij een punt heeft tegen de verkeersleider.
De toren meldt de piloot dat hij op de verkeerde taxibaan zit. De piloot vindt dit maar gezeur:
‘Delta 2242, you’re supposed to be on Mike,’
‘Yes sir,’ the pilot responds. ‘We’re going out there now.’
‘It looks like you joined Lima,’
‘You know what,’ zegt de piloot ‘We’ll taxi out there any way we want when you tell us to. I don’t like your attitude.’
‘Good morning, there was no attitude. i was just trying to correct you. That’s my job to correct you if you mess up,’ zegt de toren.
Daarna bemoeit een andere piloot zich ook nog even: ‘Settle down, Captain Happy,’
