De eerste vlucht met code-share is gisteren vertrokken. KLM plaatst de KL code op Air Malta vluchten tussen Malta en Amsterdam.
KLM klanten kunnen nu rechtstreeks naar Malta vliegen. Eerder was daar een overstap op Rome of Parijs voor nodig. Uiteraard kan op Schiphol overgestapt worden op het KLM netwerk. Air Malta vliegt al 40 jaar op Schiphol.
Air Malta: “Through this code-share our customers are now in a position to benefit from access to many European and inter-continental destinations particularly North America, operated by KLM through Amsterdam. We are very excited with this new code-share agreement. Since July, when we started operating this code-share, we have had a very good response from our mutual customers. Both Air Malta and KLM share the same service commitment towards their customers and this agreement was a natural step for us after launching the code-share with Air France last year.”
