Fastjet introduceert zichzelf aan toekomstig piloten:

Fastjet was first launched in Tanzania in 2012. We have since carried over 1.8 million passengers in east and southern Africa at fares as low as $30 on domestic routes and $50 on international routes, excluding taxes. We aim to become Africa’s biggest low-cost airline, offering Africans affordable, fast and reliable air travel.

We’re almost there. In just under three years, we’ve gone from operating a single route to operating routes all over Africa, with dozens of flights to popular destinations in Tanzania, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda and Malawi. We’re not finished yet. We’re expanding quickly and are always looking for new opportunities in countries all over Africa.

We couldn’t do it without our amazing staff. With an efficient, fun and collaborative team ethic, which exists across all areas of the business, our company culture makes fastjet a great place to develop a career with staying power. Together, we are pushing boundaries, always looking to set higher industry standards within every market we enter. As a team, we embrace challenges and find new opportunities.

Many pilots have taken the big step to move and work in vibrant Africa. Could you be one of them? Here’s some quotes from our pilots.

Chris: ‘fastjet has a fantastic family feel to it with everyone committed to the success of the company. High standards, professionalism and job pride are but a few characteristics of the fastjet family.’

Bernard: ‘Joining fastjet has been the most exciting and exhilarating part of my flying career thus far. I have 15 years airline experience having flown Boeing 737’s, A340’s and personal favourite the A319 & 320 series aircraft.

Flying for a legacy carrier was great but the tasks at hand became mundane and I was fortunate enough to be granted a leave of absence to take up a position at fastjet as a Captain in the A319 in Dar Es Salaam.

The process of joining, the OCC training and line training was almost seamless, in my case, for which I am thankful. I have been signed out to the line for over a month now and have had the best time of my life thus far.

Working in a challenging environment with people from many different cultures and origins has been a very rewarding experience. I have made many new friends and friendships that will last many years.

If you’re looking for a change of scenery and a challenging but mostly enjoyable flying position don’t hesitate to lodge your application to fastjet. I look forward to seeing you onboard.’
