Air France is van plan een route naar de hoofdstad van Costa Rica te openen.
De route gaat op 2 november van start en zal twee keer per week worden gevlogen vanaf Parijs Charles de Gaulle. De maatschappij zet een high density B777-300 in. Hierin gaan 468 passagiers, 14 business, 32 premium economy en 422 economy.
AF430 vertrekt om 13:45 uur uit parijs en komt aan om 18:10 uur. De terugvlucht vertrekt om 20:40 uur en landt weer in Parijs om 13:50 uur (een dag later). Op woensdag en zaterdag vertrekt het toestel uit Frankrijk.
Sneller
Doordat Air France de nieuwe route opent kunnen passagiers vanuit Nederland in kortere tijd naar het land in Midden-Amerika vliegen. Momenteel is de snelste route met Delta via Detroit. De passagier is dan ongeveer 20 uur bezig. Als de route vanaf Parijs geopend is kost het nog maar 14,5 uur om naar San Jose te vliegen.
