Na een succesvolle test gaat het Russische Aeroflot de cabine crew uitrusten met iPads. Nog dit kwartaal wordt een start gemaakt met 500 iPad mini’s. Er is een test gedaan van 5 maanden waarin 30 crewleden een iPad hadden. Ruim 90% was tevreden volgens de maatschappij. De crew kan de gegevens van de passagiers en operationele data inzien. Tevens scheelt het aan administratie en gewicht omdat dikke manualen niet meer mee hoeven aan boord.
