Fastjet was first launched in Tanzania in 2012. We have since carried over 1.8 million passengers in east and southern Africa at fares as low as $30 on domestic routes and $50 on international routes, excluding taxes. We aim to become Africa’s biggest low-cost airline, offering Africans affordable, fast and reliable air travel.
We’re almost there. In just under three years, we’ve gone from operating a single route to operating routes all over Africa, with dozens of flights to popular destinations in Tanzania, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda and Malawi.
